The end of university

Well these last few weeks have been a mixture of sadness and excitement. Excitement being that I got into the local paper "Bucks Free Press"for a section on the degree show. Its below.


Sadness because of leaving Wycombe, my friends and the house that I have lived in for 3 years. Well onto bigger and better things.

London trip to get location shots for FMP

Went to London this week to photograph possible locations for my final major project, which is an outdoor exhibition showing how fast memory technology has grown.

When I wandering across the Westminster bridge took some different shots of Big Ben and the London Eye experimenting with light.

Portfolio website

Well I've spent most of my Mondays recently working on my portfolio website. And last week I thought I had breakthrough with it but today I just couldn't get these two pages to link. I linked them together in Dreamweaver and uploading them through the server but one of them just wouldn't show up. Ahh well its a work in progress.

Point to point

Well went the local point to point (local horse racing) and catch up with people but there could have been better weather though. Honestly yesterday I was in a T-shirt saying we were going to be having a hot summer and today it cold cold cold o well there always next time.

Focus on Imaging Event Birmingham

Had a brilliant day today in Birmingham at the Focus on Imaging Event at The NEC. Learnt a lot and picked up lots of ideas on how present my work as well taking some snaps of Birmingham itself.

Sorry I havent been around

Sorry I haven't been around summer hit and then third and final year of uni hit, scary huh.

Anyway I have written and handed in my Dissertation which was on 3D films. After watching Avatar I was kind of struck by how many 3D films were coming out. I wanted to explore why it was so and if Avatar had been the catalyst or something so I wrote my Dissertation on it and am very proud what I have done.
